Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder

Another guilty pleasure from Rimmel. See, this is what happens when I’m waiting for my bus and have too much of a spare time, which is usually about 5 minutes lol. Bought that as I have a massive problem with my skin, it is extremely oily. Now you can say it is due to the lack ok moisture in my skin but this is not true. When I’m using facial moisturisers it gets even worse...trust me. After 5 minutes of using moisturiser my face shines and is extremely oily. I have loads of creams for my type of skin from cheap ones to expensive ones – non of them seem to do the trick.

Weeks ago I read about powders that are helping you regulate the production of sebum in your skin, and because I feel little bit more confident when after applying thin layer of foundation I put little bit of that powder I decided to try this one.
Rimmer is available everywhere from tesco to boots and it is reasonably cheap. Saw that one and decided to try it. Now excuse how it looks but I have been testing it for more than a month and here is what I have noticed about it.

this is how much i have used it after 2 months - i use it 5 day a week a thin layer to give a matte finish to my skin.
Packaging – I really hope that this one that I have is the “damaged” one because im struggling to securely close it after every use. Packaging itself doesn’t look mind blowing but does it trick. I’m almost pretty sure that it wouldn’t survive in my handbag during the night out...

Coverage – this one gives you light coverage and makes your skin looks matte. Yes, it really does it, but you have to apply quite a lot of it because you may not see any difference on your skin when applying first time.

How long it lasts – well, there is a tricky part. It depends from 1- your skin, 2 – from the product you are using before applying this at the end. When I use products such as chanel lumiere or oil – free Clinique then it does the trick and last quite long, when I’m using it with max factor satin finish foundation or l’oreal – it doesn’t do the trick and my face shines. Also the same can be spotted when I’m using moisturising creams on my face before application of any makeup product....

Would I recommend it?, I would say yes, this is a cheap product I think I paid 3£-4£ for brand new one, you simply pay for brand name not for the accessories that you would think will be coming with this product, there is no mirror or sponge to apply it so if you have spare sponge or kabuki brush – well done, if not then you are in trouble!

Will I be buying it again, maybe but I’m not in rush at the moment, may reconsider after using it all.
Are you using it?

What where your thoughts about this product?

Garnier B.B. cream

Garnier B.B. cream

Before I bought it I decided to try a sample...thank god I did it! Garnier is one of those brands that
you just trust, you see the advert and you think well, this seemed ok why not have a try and at the
same time you know it will not break your bank.

Sample came was extremely excited to try it...it was a fail. Tried it in the morning before I set off
to work, by the time I got to the office – around 1.30hrs my face was glowing, no, not in a nice way
glowing from the amount of sebum on my face that this product speed up to produce.

I thought ok, ok I admit it might be because of the air as it was hot and humidly outside I tried it next
day after my morning routine – it was even worse 30 minutes (new record) and my skin was covered
in oil!!!!! Again I blame SPF in it as before I was using foundations without this and they were pretty
good..... well unfortunately BB cream failed for me and will not be buying it any time soon if even
again. Good news is that they are developing special formula of this for oily skin – which you can
now buy.

Urban Decay, Naked and Naked 2 eye shadow - beauty with edge!

Urban Decay – Naked and Naked2 Eye Shadow Pallet.
Saw that on the wish list of my boyfriend’s sister. She was moaning that it is expensive and that she wished someone would buy this to her so I thought, well I will give it a go as never used UD products before and in case I won’t like it I will give it to her...

Got it as an absolute bargain less than 20£  brand new with Karma eye shadow brush. Love every single bit of it starting from
1 package – comes in this lovely box that is like a pre-show to this what you will see after sliding it out of the box.... then

Taaa daaaah! Comes is lovely soft mesh-like case with magnetic clip so everything stays safe in one place with no possible damage whilst in your bag or (got forbidden) falling on the floor...

2 Colours – they are all metallic- like colours which means they will glow/shine on your eyelid which is good as I’m not a fan of matte eyeshadows, well, apart from the black colour this one should be always black-black from me if you know what I mean.

3 application, this is first time when I have to say I mastered how to apply eyeshadow thanks to UD, I don;t know if this is thank to the brush as a part of accessory or because these are high quality eye shadows ( maybe both?) they blend easy, apply even easily and first time I managed to do smokey – eye makeup thanks to this eye shadow pallet. UD stays on your eyelid longer than cheaper eyeshadows – trust me I have over 100 different colour eyshadows in my makeup chest.

I would recommend this eyeshadow pallet to everyone who likes light makeup (<3) and to those who like heavy make up for the evening party. I personally love the lightest golden shade it gently sparks your eyelid giving you that lovely look.

Chanel compact natural satin matte finish powder.

Ahaha again, made similar mistake like with the previous chanel product oh well, will never learn
from my mistakes except this one wasn’t that much of a bargain... paid 20£ + 3.00£ p&p... but it was
brand new in box etc.

this comes in luxiourious black fabric case that has a cooper – metallic like
case that got mirror inside and separate divide for the chanel sponge.

Day light

picture taken with flash
I must say I absolutely love it.
Gives you that ultra smooth finish and lasts all day on your face – colour doesn’t get darker so some
of the cosmetics after wearing the all day and (i don't know if it is only me or if you have it as well) it makes you feel unique and special...

My only disappointment is the actual size of this powder it is really tiny....

what are your thoughts about this product? are you happy with it?

Organic eyeliner INIKA – Sapphire.

Organic eyeliner INIKA – Sapphire.

Yesterday I finally had a chance to use this eyeliner that was featured in April’s glossy box. I was 100% sure that this is a black eyeliner as I didn’t properly ready the colour description on it so you can imagine my face when I used it to finalise my make up :O. I was simply very happy with the colour, my eyes are blue – green, well according to my boyfriend they are changing colour, I don’t even know if it is possible but ok haha. So they eyeliner looks like that:

It came in its own package which is always a good thing, it makes it look more expensive and special.

The eyeliner itself is very soft so it it very easy to apply it however, when it comes to drawning precision lines it fails from one very simple reason – you need to make sure it has been sharpened before use otherwise you will draw a bold line which may not look as what you have planned first.

Exact colour sapphire

Eyeliner looks great it really exposed the colour of your eyes but the biggest minus of this product is it lasting time on eyelid – it is very easy to rub off, for example it was always getting into my mimic wrinkle under my eye if you know what I mean, on top of that is it expremely hard to remove it from eyes, I have tried everything, from special make up removals to soap nothing worked – you need to wash your face at last few times in space of the hours to make sure it is gone.
