“Bathina” body balm by benefit

I do have to admit, that when it comes to benefit product I am a sucka for the packaging! I just want to have all of their products. This time wasn’t any different.

Recently bought this “Bathina” body balm by benefit. Balsam gives shimmer to your skin and makes it look more photogenic. Smell is also very nice, I would describe it as summery with a hint of strawberries! Yumm!

Product comes in lovely box with this vintage printing, inside of the box you can find a lovely dark red tin – yes TIN! – with divider for balsam and body puff. All of this makes this product look lovely.

Have you tried this product? Are you happy with it? What is you all time favourite benefit product?

So Susan Lip Cushion

So Susan lip cushion.

Product featured in Jolie box. I am very sceptical when it comes to lip balms and lip glosses because instead of moisturising my lips they are drying them out. This product is different.
Packaging – like I have mentioned before, I’m in love with the butterfly box and the tiny jar – they look so cute!
Product – Got gorgeous smell (strawberries <3) and...it is hard to apply with finger so the best way is to use lipstick brush. This product stays on lips for quite long time, I applied it before I got to work (around 6.40 this morning) and now we have nearly 1pm I can still feel it on my lip and had a coffee, ribbena and pack of crisps J So Susan lip cushion is different, makes you lips not only gently shiny but extremely soft which is amazing, this is the first lip product that made me fully satisfied.

If you don’t know which product use to make your lips soft and to heal the cracks on them – this product will be a winner for you!

Do you use this product? What do you think?

Benefit they are real mascara review

Benefit they are real.
I have been using MaxFactor mascaras for years now, still got four unopened mascaras in my beauty chest. I heard loads of good about this mascara hence why I decided to try it.
I purchased mine from internet brand new in box and so and so... here is how this product works for me.

Packaging – I love benefit’s packaging, like I have mentioned before, this vintage printing and easy to catch slogans are perfect, mascara comes in nice box with short lesson how to do your eyelashes and what to expect from this product.

Let’s put aside the packaging – the most important things are the brush and the mascara itself. Brush – silicone brush that will bend if you will be too hard on your lashes, which means the harder you try the more it will bend –I seriously don’t mind it doing it. The end of the brush has rounded end with needles that will help you maintain the shortest lashes in the inner corner of your eye – found it hard to use because there is always loads of the mascara on the brush which makes the mess while using that end of the brush, to be very fair – I don’t like it. Colour is really black which is always good.

before applying mascara.

How easy it is to use – very easy, but the longer you try to use it the harder you will find it to apply, this mascara tends to dry very fast and when it dries the application on your lashes is very had because it simply works like a bubble gum or silicone, you can feel it starches on your lashes etc.
Does it do what it says – here is the thing, I have naturally very long lashes so this question is hard for me to use but what I have noticed, they are slightly longer and this mascara builds up the length of your lashes, I can’t tell if my lashes looks more curly or not, but there is not thing that I love about this mascara – it really does separate your lashes, every single one of my lashes is covered in mascara and separated. I would say it is because of the mascara but also because of the way I am applying this mascara.
How long does it lasts – mascara lasts all day and night on your lashes and – which is a slight minus – is hard to remove from your lashes, I use Neutrogena face wash with grapefruit to remove it because it is the fastest and easiest way, I tried good make up removing products they struggle with this one, it is like removing glue from your lashes or some kind of gum. In terms of the packaging I think if I would use it every day it would probably last me 3 month tops.

after applying benefit mascara

What I don’t like about this mascara is the fact that the brush is literally covered in that mascara which I have to remove before applying it onto my lashes which obviously makes the packaging dirty etc  etc. other thing is that it dries out faster than everything else.
Would I buy it – here is the think; I am using this product only during weekends because I’m trying to finish my Loreal million lashes mascara before the best before date. All I can say is that I will not be in the rush to buy it again but I will be defo buying it again at some point

Clinique stay matte oil free foundation

i have been trying to find perfect foundation for quite a while. recently purchased this one in the lightest shade.

Clinique, first time I heard about this brand was years ago just by an accident in TK Maxx when a friend of mine was trying to find anything from that brand. Months ago, other friend of mine told me that Clinique does really good foundations as well as other skincare products so I decided to try one of them.

1 - packaging, comes in box, plastic squeeze tube with fancy cap. overall look - looks nice and simple

2 - blending coverage, oh well... you really need to use small amount of it as it will cover your faces just like it should be, blending is quite tricky because this foundation is something between cream and liquid foundation, leaves makes marks easily if not blended right.

this is the lightest shade, when i first got is i was gutted because it was really dark for me, but learned how to used it and i am really impressed with the final look, it gives your skin a slight glove not fake orange one but tat light touch of sun which is always nice.

it last extremely long, my skin is very oily but this foundation is really good. oil - free formula does its trick leaves your skin matte for long hours before refreshing it - would say even up tp 5 hours without a shine!!! ( which i in my case achievement)

the only one thing i dont like is the smell... i can't even describe it!

Would I recommend it? Definitely, if you have oily skin like me (my skin is not problematic I have literally no skin problems or blemish problems at all) go and buy it, this product is a perfect investment. Leaves your skin matte for long hours and you can be sure that it won’t get that oh not so gorgeous shine. They only problem is blending which is hard and the fact that this lightest shade is still reasonably dark when using it first, so you have to apply tiny amount + using loose powder in natural shade / fair shade will do the job so colour is ok

JolieBox August Box - what i got, review, loads of pictures.

Box came only because a friend of mine send it to me as a gift, still waiting for the one i have actually paid for :(. here is what i got in my box.
This month, because we had a summer holidays both itself was themed, my theme was road trip, it doesn't really matter to me what colour was my box (red-brown-orange) because the truth is, you will never make everyone 100% happy with the style, long story short, not my cup of tea ;/
anyway it is all about the content, right?

Phil Smith Dry Shampoo - few words, i love you JolieBox, this is something that i'm using all the time, well not this brand but the type of shampoo. I love this fresh feeling and the fact that i have more volume! amazing stuff everyone should try it!
So Susan Wide Awake - this is eye brightening & illuminating pallet, i'm very much into products like that so stay tuned for next notes when i will actually try this :)

So Susan Lip Cushion -  as soon as i saw package i was in love with it, i love lip balms, especially those ones what are not with peppermint etc. the only CONE is loads of parabens ;/

Cut by Fred Lace -loving the shade everything blue / turquoise is amazing. i already have an idea how to use it and here is what i have done with it as i'm not fan it this being around my head....but instead...

Soaps - oh well....

LOVING THIS BOX!!

wet and wild blush, beauty benefits - golden pink / rose dore

here is the story, got this one just by the accident, i ran out of my usual Rimmel bush and thought that after so many years of using same brand, was the time to try new brand and slightly different product.

You can get up to four pinkish shades from wet and wild - beauty benefits, i personally prefer those rose shades light baby pinkish ones because i have fair skin.

Blush comes with mirror and blush which is a always nice surprise, also the brush itself is in a generous size with "printed" rose inside, overall it just looks cute.
It does contain a little bit of a golden glitter and it does look amazing on your cheeks, in sun it gently sparkles!

here i took few pictures just to show you the glitter

The best way to apply it is to blend it just under your cheek bones and under your apple, it will make your face look fresher and younger.

you dont have to apply load of it over your cheeks because it is quite easy to apply too much.

i would definitely recommend this blush to everyone who is using blushes and likes slightly shimmering blush!
